The Washington Capitals brace for an electric atmosphere at the Bell Centre ahead of Game 3 against the Montreal Canadiens on Friday night.

«I think everyone expects it's going to be a pretty electric atmosphere.»
Tom Wilson before the Capitals and Canadiens tangle in Game 3 of their #StanleyCup Playoffs series tonight at Bell Centre.
Friday night's Game 3 will mark the first playoff sellout at Bell Centre since 2017, and players on both teams are excited to compete in such a high-stakes game with an electric atmosphere.
While the atmosphere in Washington was loud and energetic during the first two games at Capital One Arena, the Bell Centre's larger capacity, holding nearly 3,000 more fans at 21,273, promises an even more intense and hostile environment.
Montreal's last appearance in the Stanley Cup Playoffs came in 2021, when the Habs made a surprise run to the Stanley Cup Finals before falling to Tampa Bay in five games. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time, Bell Centre attendance was limited to just 3,500 fans. It's definitely going to be a LOUD and fun one, that's for sure!
Puck drop is set for 7pm.
