NHL reveals Washington Capitals second round playoff schedule against Carolina Hurricanes
The first round of the NHL postseason is nearly in the books, and fans are already looking ahead to a highly anticipated second round. The League has officially updated the schedule for the series between the Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes, giving fans a chance to plan ahead and lock in their viewing plans.
The Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes finished first and second in
the Metropolitan Division, and there's no love lost between these two teams after a hard-fought regular season.
With that in mind, the NHL has just released the updated schedule for the second round - let's take a look.
NHL updates second-round playoff schedule for Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes
The Capitals will return to the ice for Game 2 on Thursday, May 8, again at 7:00 PM ET, with the Oilers and Golden Knights playing the late game once more.
At this time, the NHL has only released the schedule for Games 1 and 2. Additional dates and times will be announced in the coming days.
All Washington Capitals games will be broadcast on ESPN and the Monumental Sports Network.
