According to sources, Ovechkin is poised to break yet another NHL record, this one for the most power-play goals in playoff history.

The Washington Capitals are gearing up for a heated second round showdown against the Carolina Hurricanes, and Ovi has another significant milestone ahead of him: becoming the NHL's all-time leader in power-play goals.

As it stands, the all-time playoff power-play goal leader is the legendary Brett Hull, who leads the NHL with 38 career tallies.
Not far behind are Mike Bossy and Wayne Gretzky, both tied with 35.
At the start of the season, Alexander Ovechkin suffered a broken leg, and many fans assumed his shot at the scoring record was done.
But in true
Alexander Ovechkin fashion, he silenced the doubters with an incredible comeback and reminded everyone why he's one of the game's greats.
Sure, scoring nine more playoff power-play goals to surpass Hull might seem like a tall order.
