Capitals winger Brendan Duhaime forced to leave the game after suffering a knee injury in the last game of the season.

Capitals winger Brandon Duhaime left the game for a bit on Thursday in Pittsburgh after a knee-on-knee collision with Penguins' Matt Grzelcyk.

Capitals Replays posted a video of the hit moments ago on X.

Although the hit didn't look too harmless, Duhaime showed some discomfort on the team bench as he made his way down the player's tunnel.

Duhaime, 27, has been a solid addition to the Capitals bottom six forwards this season, tallying 9 goals and 12 assists in 81. He signed as a free agent last summer.
He was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the fourth round, 106th overall, of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
