Patrik Laine faces heavy criticism from media

Patrik Laines, who has been out of the Canadiens lineup since Game 3, continues to face criticism for showing a bad atttude at practice ahead of a must-win game against the Capitals.
Canadiens forward Patrik Laine continues to draw bad attention ahead of elimination game.
Elias Adaime from Habs Fanatics writes that on 98.5 Sports, Canadiens' play-by-play announcer Martin McGuire had plenty to say about the Habs forward. After watching him at practice earlier today, McGuire says that Laine hadn't convinced him physically or mentally that he was ready to return to play.
"I watched him at practice, and Patrik Laine didn't convince me he was ready physically or mentally. He was grumbling a bit, keeping to himself. There wasn't much interaction with other players [...] in terms of body language, it was like the blinds were closed!" -Martin McGuire
Laine is reportedly not in the right mindset to play in tonight's pivotal Game 5. It's clear that there seems to be another lingering issue on top of his upper-body injury.
According to a report by Dans Les Coulisses, Laine showed poor body language at practice today.
"What McGuire said is that Laine was off in a corner by himself, grumbling a bit. He didn't see him interact with others, unlike what was happening elsewhere on the ice. McGuire also believes that when it comes to Laine's body language, it's like 'the blinds were closed.' " -Dans Les Coulisses
The Canadiens are probably better off without Laine in their lineup considering that the only game they won so far this series, he wasn't playing.
Nonetheless, Renaud Lavoie from TVA Sports reports that Laine is out for Game 5.
Puck drop is set for 7:00pm at the Capital One Arena.
