T.J. Oshie makes his ESPN panel debut
After watching T.J. Oshie make his debut on the ESPN panel yesterday, it's clear that he's a total natural.
Oshie showed no signs of nerves as he delivered a hilarious breakdown of the game, even comparing
Leon Draisaitl's signature spot to "his office" - playful nod to
Alexander Ovechkin's well-known position on the ice.
It was a great moment to see him give a subtle shoutout to the Washington Capitals captain.
I think it's safe to say that T.J. Oshie's career in the NHL hangs in the balance.
After missing the entire 2024-25 season due to lingering back issues, it seems that T.J. Oshie is exploring alternative career options off the ice.
According to RMNB, The opportunity for Oshie comes several weeks after the Washington Capitals were eliminated by Carolina Hurricanes in the second round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs - an opportunity he took without blinking an eyelash.
Personally, I thought it was a great fit for the longtime Washington Capitals veteran.
Hopefully we see way more of T.J. Oshie on the screen in the coming weeks.
