Aliaksei Protas remains on the third line after returning to the lineup in Game 5, following an absence of over a month.
He's expected to stay in that role until head coach Spencer Carbery opts to make changes to the top-six.
Game 1 against the Carolina Hurricanes is set for Tuesday.
