Chicago Blackhawks superstar Connor Bedard criticized for attitude towards Alexander Ovechkin
The Washington Capitals are celebrating a comeback victory over the Chicago Blackhawks last night. More importantly, Alexander Ovechkin notched his 894th career goal, tying Wayne Gretzky's all-time scoring record. That said, Blackhawks' phenom Connor Bedard is currently in the hot seat for his sour attitude while congratulating Alexander Ovechkin on the milestone.
After last night's epic showdown, Chicago Blackhawks' captain
Nick Foligno showcased a ton of class, leading his team in a single file hand-shake line to honour Alexander Ovechkin.
While most of the Chicago Blackhawks seemed genuinely excited to show their respect to Ovechkin, Connor Bedard appeared noticeably disinterested, as if he didn't want to be there at all.
You can check out the video of Bedard's reaction below, along with how fans responded to the moment.
Hundreds of fans have taken to social media, calling out
Connor Bedard for his supposed "attitude problems".
Fans have been keeping a close eye on Bedard's attitude, especially after his apparent disrespect towards Blackhawks legends like Jeremy Roenick and others during this season's NHL Winter Classic.
There needs to be respect in the game and there needs to be respect for the history of the game. Roenick said. But there's one player that didn't come up to me, Chelly, or Savvy, and that was the superstar of the Chicago Blackhawks. That's Connor Bedard.

Connor Bedard may have lost a few fans last night with the way he handled his interaction with Alexander Ovechkin.
