On three separate occasions this past NHL season, RMNB conducted a survey asking, 'On a scale from 1 to 5, how happy are you with Anthony Beauvillier on the team [Capitals]?'

In every case, Capitals' fans were very happy having the Anthony on the team.
"I'm excited to play," Beauvillier said of his trade to the Capitals from the Pittsburgh Penguins. "And obviously that's a building that's tough to come in as a visiting team. I'm super happy to be on the good side of it now."

In the 18 games that Beauvillier played with the Caps, he scored 2 goals and 3 assists, averaging 12 minutes of ice-time per game. His expected goals was 52%, while his actual goals was 60%, both above average.
According to Player Card by All Three Zones, in which a player's performance is analyzed in all three zones, Beauvillier performed strongest in the offensive zone with deflections and forechecking and recovering dump-ins.
Anthony plays a hard-nosed game and is excellent at getting the puck back in the offensive zone, a skill essential when playing with skilled players that want the puck on their stick.
According to Player Overview by NHL Edge, Beauviller was in the 74 percentile skating at top speed, 83 in speed burst, 78 in shots on goal, 65 in goals, and 69 in offensive-zone time. All well above average.
Anthony Beauvillier was acquired from Pittsburgh at the trade deadline as a rental player on a $1.3M deal, and played in the bottom-six with Dowd and Duhaime.
In the playoff series against Montreal, Anthony started on a line with Dylan Strome and Alex Ovechkin, recording a goal and an assist in game 1, and 3 more assists in the ensuing games.
"His speed is noticeable. The pace he plays with - I've been really impressed," head coach Carbery said of Beauvillier. "And not just with his speed, he's tenacious on the puck. He's not shy to go hard to areas and go into corners, net-front, and all that."

All-in-all, Anthony Beauvillier is an asset, and receives a passing grade.
