Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson delivered a big hit in last night's Game 4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.
In a matter of seconds, Wilson shifted the momentum back in Washington's favor by laying out Canadiens defenseman Alexandre Carrier midway into the third period. It was all Capitals after that.

Carbery spoke to the media on Monday in Washington and had some special words for his player.

In game 4, Wilson led all forwards with 21:16 of ice time, recorded a team-high six hits, three shots, and sealed the win with a late empty-net goal. He's also registered points in three of four games this series.

The 31-year-old acknowledged he needed to shift his focus back to hockey after a heated exchange with Josh Anderson and a 6-3 loss in Game 3, and he responded in a major way. Capitals goalie Logan Thompson also acknowledged his teammate following the win.
"He's been huge for us. He's the heart and soul of this organization. When he's making plays, big hits, we feed off that...he's a huge part of this team and we love him." -Thompson
The Capitals will look to close out their series against the Canadiens in Game 5 on Wednesday night in Washington.
