Taylor Raddysh's 2024-25 season review

There is nothing extraordinary that stands out about Taylor Raddysh's play in the 2024-25 season, and his statistics suggest the same. He was strong in some areas, weak in others, but overall he was a depth role-player who can easily be replaced.

As per RMNB's Attributes card, Raddysh scored Strength 7, Speed 7. Intelligence 5, Endurance 7, Personality 5, and Luck 5.
This past season, Taylor Raddysh scored 7 goals and 20 assists in 80 games played, with 52% shot attempts, 55% expected goals, and 46% actual goals.
His Isolated Impact by HockeyViz rates his xGF/60 at 7%, and xGA/60 at -3%. Raddysh's 5v5 offense shot attempts came from all over the O-Zone, with the majority from the net-front, and allowed fewer shots from the right side of the ice when on 5v5 D-Zone assignments, in particular from the point and right-slot areas.
Taylor's Player Card by All Three Zones shows he was best in Cycle and Forecheck/60 and Deflections/60 situations, and was weak in all micro-areas of the Neutral-Zone.
The two areas where Raddysh was weakest in the D-Zone were Exits off Retrievals%, and Successful Retrievals/60, ranking a negative standard deviation in both areas, compared to league averages in his position.
According to an RMNB Fan Happiness Survey, Raddysh scored a 3.5, where readers were asked, On a scale of 1-5, how happy are you to have this player on your team.
When Ovechkin was out with a broken leg this past seson, Taylor Raddysh got a look from coach Carbery as Ovi's replacement on the first-line, as well as receiving top-line action in the playoffs, with Ovechkin and Strome.
Taylor Raddysh, however, is a replacement-level depth forward who in all likelihood will be replaced; his one-year deal expires this summer, when he becomes an UFA. By all accounts, he's a middle-of-the-pack winger.
In non-hockey related news, Raddysh testified a few months ago in the sexual assault trial of five of his former teammates from the 2018 Canada World Juniors, as per CBC News.
Raddysh was the first player to appear as a witness in the trial, and does not face charges, though several individuals, whose names won't be listed here, had strong opinions about his testimony.
