The Washington Capitals are gearing up for a fiery Game 4 playoff matchup tonight in Raleigh, NC, against the Carolina Hurricanes. That said, after a disappointing result in Game 3, head coach Spencer Carbery has made strategic adjustments to the lineup to counterpunch the Hurricanes high-speed offence.

In Game 3, the Washington Capitals failed to gain any traction whatsoever, getting blanked on the score board 4-0.
The Carolina Hurricanes thrive on their fast-paced style of play and can be lthal on the counterattack, punishing teams in transition.
Recognizing that, head coach Spencer Carbery has made the necessary adjustments to ensure the Hurricanes don't grab a commanding 3-1 lead in the series.
Just now, Daily Face off has adjusted their projected lineups for tonight's Game 4 - let's take a look:

According to Daily Face off, rookie phenom Ryan Leonard will draw back into the lineup tonight after sitting out Games 3 and 4 in the press box.
Forward Taylor Raddysh will be healthy scratched and will join defencemen Dylan McIlrath and Ethan Bear in the stands.
Forward Aliaksei Protas will play on the first line alongside Alexander Ovechkin and Dylan Strome. Although head coach Spencer Carbery had mentioned that Protas might move around the lineup, it looks like he's earned his place back in the top six where he belongs.
After a strong showing in the first round against the Montreal Canadiens, forward Anthony Beauvillier has cooled off and has since been demoted to the fourth line. The team will need him to find his game again if they hope to even up the series.

Goaltender Logan Thompson gets the nod between the pipes and is a huge reason why the Washington Capitals have remained competitive in the series.
The puck drop is set for 7:00 ET.
More details to follow.
