Washington Capitals organization re-call forward Alexander Suzdalev from ECHL

Just now, the Washington Capitals organization announce they have re-called forward Alexander Suzdalev from the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays. According to reports from insider Tom Gulitty, the Swedish forward will join the Capitals AHL affiliate in Hershey.

Hershey Bears re-call Alexander Suzdalev from ECHL's Sting Rays
Alexander Suzdalev has bounced around quite a bit between the ECHL and the AHL quite a bit this season, but after a strong campaign with the South Carolina Stingray's, he's earned his shot at the next level.
The rookie has scored 39 points (15g, 24a) in 50 games for South Carolina this season. He has posted 10 multi-point games, including five separate three-point performances. Over his past five games with the Stingrays, Suzdalev has scored seven points (3g, 4a).
Suzdalev, a third-round draft pick of the Capitals in the 2022 NHL Draft, collected 25 points (9g, 16a) in 30 games last season with the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League.
The Hershey Bears continue their regular season home stretch on Friday, April 11, with a matchup against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
With only a few games remaining, all eyes will be on Alexander Suzdalev to see how he takes advantage of his opportunity.
If he performs well, he could solidify his spot as a full-time member of the Hershey Bears moving forward.
