After setting the all-time goal record on Sunday in New York, Washington Capitals' captain Alex Ovechkin pokes fun at Islanders goaltender Ilya Sorokin on social media Wednesday.
As the hockey world celebrates Ovechkin's milestone, Budweiser Canada honoured every NHL goaltender with a can of Budweiser Zero for not being scored on by Ovechkin throughout their career.

The "Gr8 Chase" has finally reached its epic conclusion on Sunday in New York as Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin netted his 895th career goal, surpassing legendary Wayne Gretzky for the most NHL goals
Following the goal, Ovechkin dove on the ice as all of his teammates stormed towards him to celebrate this historic achievement.
Gretzky finished his career with 894 goals in 1,487 games over 20 NHL seasons. Ovechkin, meanwhile, has 895 goals in 1,487 games over his 20 NHL seasons.
While that honor may be an all-time embarrassment for some goalies, Sorokin appears to be handling it with pure class, even obliging with an interesting post-game request from his fellow countryman.
Ovechkin, a passionate collector of game-used hockey sticks, asked the 29-year-old goalie for the stick he used in Sunday's game. Sorokin agreed and the two posed for a photo with Wayne Gretzky at UBS Arena.

Sorokin did earn the last laugh in the end, earning his second victory in a row with a 28-save effort in New York's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
