Big Trade involving a former Washington Capitals player
A big trade in the NHL involving a former Washington Capitals player, as André Burakovsky has been dealt in a deal for Joe Veleno.
The Seattle Kraken are looking to be contenders next season by making a few moves prior to free agency to bolster their lineup.
In part of the deal, the Chicago Blackhawks will take on the full $5.5 million that was owed to Burakovsky.
Prior to playing for the Seattle Kraken André Burakovsky played for the Colorado Avalanche. Washington Capitals fans fondly remember André Burakovsky's time in Washington where he played for the Capitals from 2014-2019 and would win the Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals in 2018.

Coming to the Seattle Kraken from the Chicago Blackhawks is center Joe Veleno.
